Comparative Scan of Ferrite Cores in a test chamber near to suggestion by Kurt Poulsen, Tom Hagen and Whitham D. Reeve, Applying and Measuring Ferrite Beads, Part III:

• HF Core Size 2, material FeNiCu, scan 1.0 ... 200 MHz

• Reference: Slightly larger, 3 pieces Amdion FT-114-43, material 43, scan 1.0 ... 200 MHz

Ferrite Material FeNiCu is not a best specification for use on VHF / UHF as Materials 43 or 61 from NiZn show higher Impedance per size ... but it is sufficient even for demanding applications:

A single size 1 High Flux Core was used by the V31EME DXpedition (DG8NCO) on a 432 MHz 25 el. Yagi lasting 3 moon paths with 0.9 kW in WSJT enabling even a CW EME QSO with this single Yagi.
